Cupids Country Club

Welcome to Great Wakering – only three miles from the historic seaside resort of Southend On Sea. Please come and use our rally to enjoy this great resort with all it has to offer. Southend has the longest pleasure pier in the world and also the brand new City Beach seafront leisure area, or just enjoy a lazy weekend in good company around the campsite. There are four pubs in the village of Great Wakering itself, plus the social club where you will be staying which supplies hot food and lower than pub/bar prices! (And, of course, the band on Saturday evening).
We intend to have a couple of ride outs, one of which will be to a pub where, on a good Saturday, there will be many classic bikes all of which are driven on a regular basis by their classic riders. Back at the social club and campsite there are inside and outside loos, hot showers etc, a pool table, several top quality dart boards and large screen TVs with all the sport channels.
If you send us just £10 now, to reserve one night’s camping, this will automatically reserve a second and third night if wanted, which you can pay for on arrival. This will also include free entry to the Battlesbridge Classic Bike Show on the Sunday which, if you have not been before, is well worth a visit. There will be hundreds of bikes on show, bike jumble, a band, burger stalls etc and even its own bike museum.
Prizes will be given for the longest distance travelled (male and female), oldest and youngest rider etc.

Richmond Avenue Primary & Nursery School Visit

Dear Mr Healy,

Thank you so much for giving up your time to show your motorbikes to our children as part of our Hobbies and Careers Week. I wonder if you would pass on our gratitude to the other members of the Triumph Owners Club, who also brought bikes in to show the children.

One of the aims for this special week was to show children the enjoyment and satisfaction that come with following and developing an interest. As well as allowing children to get really close to your wonderful machines (and even sit on them), you and the other members of your club were also kind enough to answer the childrens questions about your hobby, which was a rare opportunity for them to speak to real enthusiasts.

I feel sure that you have given the children an experience that they will not soon forget and one that has hopefully inspired them to get involved with a rewarding hobby.

			The new Trophy as unveiled at North City Triumph. 1 November 2012 South Essex Members Present were Peter Breading, Peter Healy and, Martin (Not so worthy) Kerwin and of course, Jim ( I love the electric windshield !) Dormer. Food was plentiful, as was the non- alchoholic wine etc, good job really cos the local bobby from bikesafe was there too!
